Taking things apart is easy Last Update: May 12, 2009 0:12 AM
Two eight hour days is all that is needed to completely strip a miata of its powertrain and two subframes.
The diff, axles, stock exhuast, PPF are all for sale. Contact me for info.
The radiator and fans are for sale. Contact me for info.

You don't need to drop the rear subframe to install the kit but we decides to clean up some of the rust on it so out it came.
David wanted to try to tackle the rust issue on the rear subframe and control arms while I had the car apart so I took them out, wire brush them (a lot...) and coated them with Rustoleum's latest rust *converting* paint, Rust Reformer. Works very similar to POR-15 in that it chemically converts the rust so its no more. This is in contrast to "stopping" the rust which involves just encasing it in paint and preventing access to oxygen for it to spread.
The rear subframe had seen better days but after a few hours, its all cleaned up.
