Don's car has the CTS diff with 3.42 final drive ratio. The V8 Roadster kit requires you to weld in the front diff mounts. Care has to be taken to ensure the diff is pointed 1.5 degrees upwards to cancel out the driveshaft u-joints.
Below is the rear subframe with the rear diff mount bolted in (square tubing). The front diff mounts are not welded in yet.



The V8 Roadster kit requires the front diff mounts to be welded to the rear subframe. The diff has to be positioned exactly 1.5 degrees upwards to cancel the driveshaft u-joint angles.
